okay, so i saw this photoshoot and I absolutely fell in love with it!! I actually made these on the 19th, but I havn't had a chance to post them, but I'm taking a break and so up they go!

okay, so actually i don't like her but the pictures were pretty and i had to make an icon for this challenge so i just sort of got caught up in all the fun of icon making and out came 16 icons! however now i'm faced with the challenge of choosing which to enter!

well ya so the entire "week i'll be back thing" i'm extending that to 2 weeks. although nothing tragic has happenned to me so you can all be grateful, or ungrateful if you wish, about that. I'm working 4 days a week and getting money *yay* although i still believe that 7 am is an inhumane time to be up during the summer, c'est la vie. About my status of my return, i am once again on my mom's computer where i am typing this up, and so i ordered the charger on the 19th for my computer online (don't remember the day of the week) and so my mom gave me her credit card to type in the billing information and stuff, and so i asked if it was the card that billed to her office address or to the home address and she goes "the home address i think" and well i don't think it's that hard to assume that she was wrong and so i waited a week for the confirmation email, and can you guess why it never came? yup wrong address. so yesterday i went to hp.com and saw that there was an error so today i asked my mom if she was sure that card was for the home address and now over a week later she has decided to correct herself so i just ordered it about a 1/2 hour ago so hopefully i'll have it by monday or tuesday. but if it comes on monday or tuesday i'm going away to a convention from monday-wednesday so i probably won't be back on my photoshop and in the groove until most likely thusday evening but probably the weekend. we'll see! so there is my update which i hope finds you all in good health. and i'm out!

well i havn't updated this in quite a while, but I'm updating it now (*yay*) to say that my site is off hiatus, for those of you who havn't visited in a while, because i didn't make any announcement, but if you want to see it:

And comment to tell me if you like it. I was stupid and didn't add any sort of tagboard or guestbook to this layout so i have no way of knowing what people's feedback is.
also I just wanted to let you guys know that I haven't disappeared, it's just that my charger on my laptop gave out (the stupid wires got disconnected or something) and that's the only computer in the house that i'm allowed to have photoshop on, so until then i do not have photoshop, and even before that I have a summer job, so i'm up at 6:30 every morning and by the time i get back i just collapse on the couch. Today I had to stay home because we have people working on the sprinkler system and they occassionally need access to the house, so that's why I'm here today!

| What a night! |

Well this actually happenned yesterday night, but if a blog is supposed to tell about your day, nothing has happenned yet today, as I am stuck home alone, so I'll talk about yesterday. So we're fasting. right. So the only type of cookies my mom knows how to bake, without dairy, are these wine biscuit things (no I'm not drunk), unfortunately last weekend when she baked them she convenietly decided to leave out the sugar so we were left with something more resembling sour breadsticks than cookies. So I decided to take a wack at them yesterday. Unfortunately as I was about to finish the dough, a bunch of our electrical things beeped and boom the power went out. Keep in mind it was like 85 degrees out and perfectly sunny! so of course my brother decides to be melodramatic, i swear he gossips like a girl, and he begins to use up my cell phone battery (the only means of communication we had) by talking to his friend and saying "the power went out" in 50 different ways, before my mom pried the cell phone away from him. So then we call my grandmother's house and lo and behold they're having the thunderstorm of the decade, well at least now we knew the cause. So I actually had internet access for a 10 minutes so I checked CNN to see if we were important enough to get even the tiniest headlines, and we weren't. No surprises there. Then of course my little sister got so excited that "the power was out" but didn't quite grasp the meaning until she tried to turn on the television and she was shocked to discover that it didn't work. She promptly began to scream. But not before she made 20 signs for every electrical thing around the house which read "____ is not working" of course in her language. h/o let me see if I can find one and I'll tell you exactely how she wrote it: nope can't find it, dommage. So I began to get sick of her screaming and went upstairs and got my portable DVD player so she could watch Barbie Mermadia. I finished knitting a scarf which was supposed to be done 4 months ago, my mom was reading, my brother resorted to watching barbie with my sister, and my dad came home to find the garage not working so we let him in through the back door. So ya this went on for 2 hours the power came back on, the storm moved out of my grandmother's area and came to visit us for the rest of the night. good stuff.
I'll hopefully be getting some icon accent things by tomorrow up and ready for download, so look out for them ^_^

So, this is my first post at my new livejournal! I don't know why, but I simply got sick of my old one and I really just wanted a whole new start, so here I am at elevarsi! My favorite part is the layout! I love how rich the colors are, yes I know I sound conceited but I think I'm allowed to love some of my graphics, aren't I? Wow well today was quite a day, I'm recoding my entire website, so I was making the image map and for 2 hours I was trying to figure out why it wouldn't work. I placed it in the head, in the body, in the table, outside the table. Finally, I decided to take a shower and eat something before coming back and when I come back I truly learned the meaning of wasted time. I typed in "cords" instead of "coords" before typing in the coordinates. Definitely one of my stupidest feats yet! So hopefully in the next couple of days I'll be updating with icons and all the jazz so look out for them!
